Years as an accountant and then a mom have provided the life experiences invaluable to artistic pursuits. A love of travel and adventure have been the framework for exploring forests, meadows, mountains and villages. The great outdoors is a fascinating studio.

Beginning work occurred in a black and white lab, followed by years working with color slide film. Slowly the digital world is becoming familiar. Favorite locations range from a window with filtered light at home to a southern Argentina backpacking trip to small compelling villages in Italy or Ireland.

Time with only a camera as companion provides the opportunity to let the mind travel far from ordinary thoughts. New images, not preconceived, often occur in what may best be described as a journey of self discovery.
